Position of ERP Systems Analyst

Job Duties

Responsible for systems analysis, implementation, configurations, customizations, reporting, upgrades, and support of ERP (enterprise resource planning) applications, providing solutions in Workday and PeopleSoft HCM (human capital management).  Collaborate with HRMS (human resource management system) project stakeholders to identify recommendations for process improvements, overcome business and functional constraints, and resolve operational issues.  Collaborate with business users and external system vendors relating to strategy, design, compliance, and budgeting.  Gather requirements from end users for required customizations and enhancements as part of development and support of PeopleSoft HCM.  Create functional and technical specification documents based on the requirements.  Responsible for impact and fit gap analysis of the modification, enhancements, and customizations of PeopleSoft modules.  Create process documentation for end users along with complete training of the functionality.  Provide production support and configure security involving user profiles, roles, and permissions.  Monitor and troubleshoot systems issues in PeopleSoft modules.  Involved in Workday HCM implementation, field mapping for PeopleSoft HR Views using PeopleSoft database, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Query, SQR, and SQL.  Involved in developing Core Connectors, Integrations using Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Workday Studio integrations to make custom reports for varied functional areas and to integrate with third-party systems.  Develop advanced custom reports, BIRT, matrix reports, and calculated fields configuration and building Workday integrations.  Map data elements, identifying data quality issues and managing conversion activities.  Work with developers on requirements clarification and ensure technical specifications satisfy the project needs.  Work on troubleshooting and performance tuning of SQL queries, table reorganization, running statistics, indexing, handling scheduled jobs and sessions.  Involved in creating test plan and test cases for testing of the Workday HCM application in accordance with project testing strategy.
